Kristen CibelliOutreach CoordinatorMs. Cibelli is currently the Outreach and Project Coordinator at the Benetech Human Rights Program. She educates Benetech partners about Martus, Analyzer, information management and data analysis for human rights organizations. From early 2004 to April 2005, Ms. Cibelli served as Analyzer Product Manager. She now assists field users of the human rights database and sets priorities with Analyzer and data processing engineers. Ms. Cibelli also manages Martus projects in a number of countries including Sierra Leone, Chad, East Timor and Colombia. She co-authored the Statistical Appendix for the report of the Sierra Leone Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Ms. Cibelli has worked with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission in Sierra Leone where she implemented a household survey sponsored by the American Bar Association's Central European and Eurasian Law Initiative (ABA-CEELI). She worked as an intern with the Human Rights Data Analysis Group (HRDAG) at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) for six months before the group joined Benetech. During this time, Ms. Cibelli worked with data projects in Chad and Sierra Leone and co-authored the HRDAG report on Chad. Prior to her work with HRDAG, Ms. Cibelli served as the Programme Coordinator for Foundations for Freedom, a program of United Kingdom-based Initiatives of Change which helps create civil society organizations in Moldova, Ukraine and Russia. Ms. Cibelli also worked with Ms. Tamy Guberek and Dr. Patrick Ball to investigate local perceptions of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in Bosnia and Herzegovina from the perspective of local NGOs working on post-conflict reconstruction and reintegration. This research resulted in the report "Justice Unknown, Justice Unsatisfied?: Bosnians Speak Out about the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia," co-authored with Ms. Guberek. Ms. Cibelli received her B.A. in International Relations with a certificate in Peace and Justice Studies from Tufts University.
